Secure storage: The cabinet stores CyberKeys in an unprogrammed state, meaning they cannot open any locks while inside the vault.

User authentication: To check out a key, an authorized user presents a credential, such as an RFID card, mission number, or mobile app login, to the cabinet. The ValidiKey Pro also supports dual-factor authentication for added security.

Key programming: The cabinet uses its network connection to communicate with the CyberAudit software. Upon approval, it programs the CyberKey with specific access permissions and a time-based schedule for the user.

Key retrieval: Once the key is programmed, the cabinet dispenses it, and the user can go perform their tasks.

Return and audit trail: When the user returns the key, the cabinet downloads the key’s audit trail, records all access events, and wipes the key’s programming. It also sends email or text notifications to administrators if a key is not returned on time.

Capacity: It can program and dispense up to 20 CyberKeys at a time.

Advanced reader: The updated multi-credential reader supports five different access methods:.

• RFID cards, including encrypted MIFARE DESFire EV3.
• Mission numbers entered on the keypad.
• Infrared CyberKeys.

Large touchscreen: A five-inch color capacitive touchscreen provides a streamlined user interface with clear key status indicators.

Mechanical key management: By using a “ValidiKey Ring” tethered to a CyberKey, administrators can also track and audit the checkout of physical mechanical keys.

Centralized management: The ValidiKey Pro connects to the CyberAudit Enterprise software for centralized control and tracking of large numbers of keys and locks.
